Mor werthfawr yw'th drugaredd di

(Salm XXXVI. 7-10. Daioni Duw i'w Bobl)
Mor werthfawr yw'th drugaredd di,
  I ni, O Arglwydd, beunydd!
Am hyn y câr
    plant dynion fod
  Dan gysgod dy adenydd.

A brasder da
    dy dŷ fwyfwy
  Digonir hwy mewn heddwch;
Dïodi di eu henaid llon
  Ag afon dy hyfrydwch.

O herwydd gyd â thi yn wir
  Mae ffynnon bur y bywyd;
A gwir oleuni welwn ni
  Yn dy oleuni hyfryd.

O estyn etto i barhau
  Dy drugareddau tirion,
Fel yr adwaener di a'th ddawn
  I'r rhai sydd uniawn galon.

gwelir:
  Dy drugaredd fy Arglwydd Ion
  Dy fawr drugaredd f'Arglwydd Iôn
  Mae'th fawr drugaredd Arglwydd da
  O Arglwydd Dduw y lluoedd mawr
  O frasder da llawn yw dy dŷ
  O mor werthfawr fy Arglwydd Dduw
  Ymddyrcha Dduw y nef uwchlaw
  Yr unwedd ag y brefa'r hydd

(Psalm 36:7-10. The Goodness of God to His People)
How precious is thy mercy,
  To us, O Lord, daily!
Therefore the children
    of men love to be
  Under the shadow of thy wings.

With the good fatness
    of thy house more and more
  They are to be satisfied in peace;
Thou givest drink to their cheerful soul
  From the river of thy delight.

Because with thee truly
  Is the pure fount of life;
And true light we see
  In thy delightful light.

O reach again to continue
  Thy tender mercies,
That thou be known and thy gift
  To those who are upright of heart.
tr. 2016 Richard B Gillion
